The Research Starts…

I’m back and this time we are planning and researching for a project about me! 

To start, I needed to find a couple pieces about me to include. I initially started looking for pieces of media about me like pictures and videos. I have tons of photos backed up so it took a while to refine which ones are key to representing who I am. This took me forever since I kept getting sidetracked. I would find a photo, reminisce about the memories, and then send it to whoever was in it. Can you tell I’m a sentimental person? So what I decided to do was just find photos from a certain time frame of the current day and to last summer which helped me. 

Finding the videos was even more difficult since I take way more photos than videos. It honestly took me over an hour or two to find any videos let alone good ones. 

Note to self: Take more videos of things. 

Lastly, pick the songs. As I mentioned in the first post I love the artist SZA but not all of her songs are the most appropriate. I wanted to include one of her songs though so I took some time to sift through to find a segment that works and also matches the vibe I’m trying to portray, For now, I’m going to use Good Days. Now, I also wanted to include a song from my culture. Being Punjabi music is a huge part of who I am, now I love my Bhangra bangers but some good old relaxed music is also the perfect mood. I love Mi Amor, Take It Easy, and Under the Stars. I’ve decided that I am going to try a bit of each song and then decide which goes best with the media presented. Music was the most easy to find since I love listening to music, the only hard part was deciding what genre.
